Paint Your Pet Workshop

Join us as we bring our furry friends to canvas! Whether you’re a complete beginner or already love to paint, this workshop is for all skill levels.

*Please email a clear , close up, well-lit photo of your furry friend (one pet per person) to cardinal_jl@hotmail.com. The clearer the photo, the better sketch I can create. Your canvas will come pre-sketched with your pet on it so that you can get straight to painting and have a guideline. 

*DEADLINE: Photos must be sent by October 2nd. 

*if you want to be seated next to a friend, in your email of your pet just write me a note with their first and last name. 

What's all included: 

- a pre sketched canvas of your pet

- all materials needed to create your masterpiece

-a painting apron to protect your clothes

-non alcoholic drinks and snacks

-4hrs of instruction time with local artist Jodi Morgenstern.

-pet workshops take a little longer than other paint nights as each pet is so unique, this class will have a smaller class size so that there is more time for questions and one on one help.

-before arriving, think of a background color you want for your painting, then when you arrive you can get straight to painting and not spend your time thinking. 

-About the instructor: 

 I am a local artist located near Maidstone Sk. I have my own art studio right on my property! I host small intimate classes in my own studio, and want to bring workshops to Lloydminster as well. 

I have been an artist my whole life, and have been creating art for others for the past 8 years. I also have a degree in Bachelor of Education and have taught art in schools and have ran after school art clubs. 

I love creating custom pet portraits and pet ornaments for others, and am excited to teach others how to create their own!
